Not a Substitute for Professional Care

The information on this website is for general educational purposes only. It is not intended as, and should not be used as, a substitute for individualized psychological, medical, or psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Reading this website does not constitute receiving therapy or clinical advice.

Not for Emergencies

This website and Pathwise Psychology’s telehealth services are not appropriate for emergencies or crisis situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in crisis:

•         Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)

•         Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room

•         Contact your local crisis line

Dr. Dickinson does not provide emergency, on-call, or after-hours crisis services. There may be delays in response to messages, emails, or contact form submissions, including outside of business hours.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Every person’s circumstances are different. Descriptions of services, approach, or specialties on this site reflect general information about how Dr. Dickinson works and do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, or experience.

Telehealth Considerations

Telehealth has both benefits and limitations compared to in-person care, including dependence on technology and internet connectivity, the inability to provide certain in-person interventions, and limitations tied to your physical location at the time of each session (see Terms of Use, Section 3, regarding licensure). These are discussed in full during the informed consent process before treatment begins.

No Therapist-Client Relationship Established

Viewing this website, submitting an inquiry, or corresponding by email or phone prior to completing intake does not establish a therapist-client relationship or any duty of care.
